For Surge 2014, Stillmotion will present a series of interactive workshops exploring physical movement and play. Inspired by traditional street games, participants will work with stillmotion’s inspiring dancers and performers to explore the objects and games that are part of the Scotch Hoppers play area, and experiment with new ways of moving and playing creatively in the street, on a summers day.

Led by experienced and inspiring performers and workshop leaders we will offer workshop experiences to a variety of ages from family groups and young children under 10, to young adults and older adults, we will explore physical movement, dance, creative games and play, storytelling and reminiscence of memories of games we have played as children. These workshops will offer a safe, structured creative experience for participating groups to experience a creative experience outdoors in the summer, in the street.  Book ahead of time to ensure your spot on their unique outdoor playground!  Find out more about workshops in blogs by workshop leaders Pip and Salma.
